Rio Grande is a worldwide distributor of equipment and components to the jewelry industry. Our growing, 65-year-old company is one of New Mexico’s largest private companies; we are looking for someone with strong marketing and project management skills.
Qualified candidate will:
Oversee and manage marketing campaigns, including print, electronic, direct mail and face-to-face marketing efforts
Provide direction and manage teams to meet project deadlines
Work with marketing strategy and merchandising managers to determine marketing and budget requirements
Negotiate and authorize contracts
Ensure all marketing materials are accurate and brand compliant
Coordinate and oversee tradeshows and events
Required Skills:
Five or more years of project/account management experience. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is desirable.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality work
Ability to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong proofreading and negotiating skills a must
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without strict supervision and as a member of a team
Ability to motivate others and maintain effective, positive relationships with team and linked-team members
A working knowledge of desktop publishing and e-commerce expertise is desirable
