The Opportunity

Rio Grande is seeking a Made-to-Order (MTO) Specialist for our distribution center. You’ll be pulling made-to-order products to fulfill customer orders.
What you’ll do:
- Safely, accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders
- Verify products, quantities, and order numbers
- Measure, calculate and prepare raw materials to exact standards
- Operate metal-cutting machinery
- Ensure orders are processed in accordance with our customer service standards
- Problem-solve and research inventory discrepancies
- Utilize wireless voice-activated RF equipment and PCs to get the job done
- Interact with teammates to recommend process improvements that will benefit our customers and our business
What you’ll need:
- Self-motivation and superior attention to detail
- Excellent research, problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Basic math, calculator and computer skills
- Ability to use a scale and ruler
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, M-F
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and sit/stand for long periods of time
- Associates of Rio Grande are invited and expected to participate in the management of themselves, their teammates and linked teammates. As such, strong interpersonal, collaborative and self-management skills are a must.
