Rio Grande is seeking a Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our Hot Stamping Team.
The Fun.
- Placing customer logos and lettering on a variety of display products.
- Working with machinery—set up and minimal maintenance will be your responsibility.
- Developing processes and schedules to achieve excellent productivity levels.
- Troubleshooting order issues.
- Checking customer dyes for accuracy and quality.
- Reviewing orders for special instructions.
- Managing and maintaining customer order files and dyes.
- Meeting a variety of new challenges that await you each day.
The Requirements.
Must have demonstrated prior experience maintaining, calibrating and operating machinery. Laser engraving experience a plus. Good manual dexterity will help this individual work to the expectations of the team. Ability to accurately read and understand customer orders. Proficiency in utilizing a Windows based PC is necessary. The successful candidate will thrive and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where change and problem-solving are the norm. A high level of self-directed initiative and a desire to deliver the best possible product to internal and external customers is a must. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required in our team environment. The ability to design/prepare and follow detailed instructions is important, as is working against deadlines to keep deliveries to our customers on schedule.
